Series 5: Photographs

Series contains photographs both given to Ross Hastings and of the Hastings family. Included are pictures from Hastings’ youth as he attended Alhambra Military Academy and many identified photographs of the family of Ross Hastings including Ray Hastings, Marion Hastings, Verdi, and Stephen. A large part of the photograph collection consists of pictures given to Ross Hastings by Otto Klemperer, Russell Bennett, Solon Alberti, Mary Costa, Pierre Monteux, and others.
