This diverse assortment of materials documents the history of industry and its supporting infrastructure in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Materials include information about the development of the Eau Claire water works, transit studies, reports and studies conducted by the city’s Department of Public Works, economic promotional literature, and commerce directories. Particularly well represented are various forms of booster literature and materials pertaining to water resources in the area: drinking water, waste water, flooding, and the management of Half Moon Lake.
