Miscellaneous student publications created by students from the University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire and its predecessor institutions. Major student publications, such as the Periscope and the Spectator, are cataloged separately under their own names. It includes the following titles: Daily Chimp, Free Radical, Dimension Magazine, Alternative, Skyliner, River City Review, Global Awareness, Governors Hall Newspaper, Participant, Directions, Informant, No Strings, Black Essence, Freshman By-lines, On Tap, Our Town, River City Rag, River City Review, Outlet, Yours, Roach, The Tatler, The Purveyor, The Flipside, and None of the Above (NOTA). NOTA is a biannual literary student publication that includes poetry, fiction, essays, photographs, drawings, and other student works of art. Originally sponsored by the Theta Zeta chapter of Sigma Tau Delta and funded by Student Senate, it is published twice annually. Its predecessor was The Purveyor. NOTA broadsheets (1988-1995) and administrative files relating to the cutting of NOTA’s funding in the mid-1970s are also in the collection. Digital copies of NOTA are available for 2020-2022.
