Copies of records of numerous churches and cemeteries in Chippewa County, Wisconsin, microfilmed by the Genealogical Society of Utah in cooperation with the State Historical Society of Wisconsin. Representing the Catholic, Congregational, United Church of Christ, Episcopal, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Seventh Day Baptist, and United Brethren denominations, the records usually consist of membership and sacramental record books. Cemetery records usually include the plot locations, names of owners and those interred, and maps. The original records were loaned for copying by their custodians and were returned when copying was completed. Also included on this film are records, 1898-1921, of the Eidsvold Lutheran Church, Town of Thorp (Clark County); records, 1900-1921, from St. John's Lutheran Church, Town of Aurora (Taylor County); and records, 1916-1946, of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Town of Wilson (Eau Claire County). Two non-church and cemetery items are also present: a souvenir booklet published in 1937 entitled "Chippewa Falls History" (located on Reel 6, Item 6) and Voecks Family records, 1844-1920 (located on Reel 8, Item 3).
