Content Description

Records including clerk's minutes and documents considered by the Board at each meeting. Documents include: petitions, memorials, communications, and claims addressed to the Board; reports of county officers and of Board committees; resolutions and ordinances; and other papers relating to the operations, services, finances, planning, and policy of county government. Proceedings from 1854 through 1892 are available in volume form only and proceedings from 1924-1975 and 2002-2009 are available as printed pamphlets only. For the years 1893-1923, both formats are available, except for 1896 which is in volume form only. Proceedings from 1974-2001 are bound supervisor's journals. Materials are chronological by meeting date. Additional materials are held at the Wisconsin Historical Society in Madison, Wisconsin.
