Professor emeritus Laura Sutherland, an Eau Claire Normal School graduate and professor of history from 1921-1959, was commissioned to research and write a history of Wisconsin State College at Eau Claire in anticipation of the Golden Jubilee of WSU-EC in 1965-1966.
