Content Description
The UW-Eau Claire Oral History Interviews collection contains oral history interviews with university faculty members, administrators, and relatives of faculty members. Some of the individuals interviewed include Leonard Haas, Hilda Carter, Dean Marguerite Coffman, Delpha Davies, Dr. Ormsby Harry, Marshall Wick, James Benning, Lyla Flagler, Dr. Edward Blackorby, Paul Nagel, Eugene R. McPhee, Harvey Schofield’s children John Schofield and Betty Lou Ressler, along with several others. Also includes sets of interviews connected to oral history projects. The Marcus Oral History Project includes interviews with WWI and WWII veterans conducted by Richard Marcus’s History 186 students from November 1982 to March 1983. The Ken Neuhaus interviews concern UW-Eau Claire housing and In loco Parentis with Neuhaus interviewing Chuck Majors, Adam Bors, and Bill Zorn, among others. Contains paper documents of typed interview transcripts, interview notes and topics; reel-to-reel audio; and audio cassette tapes. The interviews have been digitized and are available in an electronic format.
