Records are fragmentary and include the Chapter’s constitution and by-laws (1989, 1991), annual reports, Chapter reports, meeting minutes, membership applications, and a brochure to “Jam with SAM”. Also included is the organization’s banner.

Biographical/Historical Note
The Society for Advancement of Management was founded in 1912 by the followers of Frederick Taylor, a pioneer of scientific management. The University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire Chapter seems to have been founded in the 1980s. The organization sought to make connections between students and professionals and bring management speakers to campus. The organization ceased to exist in 1992.
