Diaries and poetry of a woman from the Town of Brunswick, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin, who later lived in the city of Eau Claire. The diaries, 1882-1920, relate in detail the daily activities of Miss Converse, her family (which included a brother, Royal William, 1829-?, and a sister, Clarissa, 1828-?), and friends. Two volumes of her poetry date 1896-1932. In 1939, Miss Converse married Thomas H. Rooke in Eau Claire.
