Case files pertaining to probate of estates, descent of real estate, determination of heirships, and some criminal cases heard before the County Court in Eau Claire County. Included are depositions, motions, inventories, and other documents filed with the court. Records from 1878-circa 1919 are available only on microfilm.

Although contents of the volumes varies, one set, 1878-1928, usually contains oaths of appraisers, inventory and appraised value of the estate, order limiting creditors to present claims, decision on claims by judge, and order of hearing for final settlement.
