Summary

After service in World War II, Eugene R. McPhee became director of teacher training at Eau Claire until leaving for Madison in 1948. Contains personal and professional papers of McPhee’s military career in the United States as well as while he was stationed in Italy. McPhee’s thesis and other documents from his educational career. There are early University of Wisconsin -- Eau Claire financial documents regarding scholarships, memorials and other aspects of the university.
