Content Description
A collection of over 2000 photographs focusing on the University of Wisconsin—Eau Claire. The collection includes images of university buildings, various campus scenes, athletics, student organizations, student activities, programs and special events, ceremonies, and people (identified and unidentified students, staff, faculty, administrators, dignitaries, and campus visitors). The collection is arranged into eight series: buildings, athletics, student organizations, campus and student activities, campus scenes, people, academic disciplines and academic support services, and affiliated images of events and programs.
Primarily consists of photographic prints of various sizes, but the collection does include negatives and slides. The majority of the images are unidentified, but some of the images have identifiable information marked on the reverse or on an accompanying sheet of paper. Boxes 31-40 contain original prints from the 1993, 1994, and 1995 Periscope yearbooks.
