Local history essays about Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and Washburn, Wisconsin, written by amateur local historian Arthur MacLeod, a professional salesman with a deep interest in Wisconsin history. He grew up in and retired to Washburn, and he delivered many speeches to the Washburn Historical Society.
