Records of the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, established at Eau Claire in 1949. Personal papers of Clarice Chase Dunn, a 1937 Eau Claire State Teachers College graduate. Records document her time as a teacher at the Heart Mountain (Wyoming) relocation camp school for Japanese Americans during World War II, and her efforts in the 1980s to establish redress payments to those who were interned in these camps.

This collection contains primarily memorabilia from Jeanette Gaffney Miller’s attendance at the Eau Claire State Normal School, class of 1928. Included are passes used for dances, homecoming programs and sporting events, and the regulations for the housing of women students at the normal school.

The collection includes biographical and administrative files, publications, women’s issues in higher education, and records of women’s programs and events.

The Viennese Ball at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is a formal event that recalls the culture, history and music of 19th-century Vienna and provides the opportunity to dance waltzes and polkas. It features many student and faculty ensembles and regional musicians who perform music from many different periods and eras. Proceeds and donations provide music, service and international study awards for University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students.

Dr. Vicki Lord Larson was a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and served as Interim Chancellor from 2005 to 2006. This collection includes a number of Larson’s academic papers, books, and various memorabilia from her time at UW-Eau Claire.
